8 Cleaning Tips that Will Change Your Summer
1. Tap Into the Natural Bleaching, Degreasing and Antibacterial Properties of Lemons!
Lemons can be used for a host of cleaning tasks, from deodorizing your garbage disposal to disinfecting your microwave and deep-cleaning your wooden cutting board. Washing a wooden cutting board with dish soap and hot water are critical to keeping it clean, but when you need to deep clean or remove stains (think: beet juice), bring out the big guns: coarse salt and lemon juice. Sprinkle the salt liberally over the board, then slice a lemon in half and use it to rub the salt into the board. 2. Get Grime Off Your Grill.
